DATABANK DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Iris
DMS Pro perfectly simulates the way you keep folders in your filing
cabinet - you retrieve the folder in compressed format,
see a general information sheet and then the documents neatly
and orderly indexed in sub-folders or tabs. This you can do with
the DMS Pro while the rest of the world still copy individual
files. In addition, the Iris DMS allows you to use the convenience
of fast search, preservation of documents in digital format, archiving
and more! Absolutely compatible with previous versions of Iris
DMS. Now with complete Document Tracking functions. The
following are the convenient functions of the Iris Databank Document
Management System Pro:
1. Database
- It allows you to make a database table where you can store information
like client name, address, telephone, email, etc. You can create
an UNLIMITED number of tables. Therefore, you can make
a table for clients, another for suppliers, etc. Each table can
store an unlimited number of entries. It has a bookmark function
so you can access folders you frequently open.
2. Document
Management - The system allows you to make a folder for each
table entry where you can be able to insert documents of any
format (text, doc, pictures, spreadsheets, videos, webpages,
etc) including gif animation. Bitmap files may be converted and
stored as GIF file. Depending on the storage capacity of your
computer, you can insert an unlimited number of documents
in each folder and sub-folder. To view files, The system will
AUTOMATICALLY access the default application upon clicking the
file. The system also allows you to insert files that need
accompanying files to run which you can insert them as a group
3. Folders
and Sub-Folders - You can create an UNLIMITED number of
folders and subfolders. You can conveniently transfer files
from one sub-folder to another.
4. Search
Function and Bookmark - You can search for database entries
together with its folders. You can search on all database fields.
You can also search the archive and search for individual documents.
5. Iris
Filter and SQL - Uses SQL and filter technology without the
complicated procedures. You can filter all the fields on the table.
6. Data
Source - The system allows you to use the workstation and
server as data sources You can have tables and folders
on your workstation separate from that of the server. The system
can easily be switched from local to server and vice-versa.

Archiving - It has an archiving facility where all documents
in the folder (regardless of quantity) are compressed into
a SINGLE FILE SO SMALL you need not worry about space. You
can choose any directory, drive or server to store your archived
folders. You can transfer the archive to a CD-Rom. Once copied,
you can delete the files from your harddisk to give you more space
and you can make a new archive directory. You can conveniently
switch from one archive to another including those transferred
in a CD-Rom. You can easily RESTORE the archived folder to
active file. You can also view the archived folder outright
without having to restore.
8.
Copy Folder - While the rest suffer the inconvenience of copying
individual files, you can copy the whole folder, the whole subfolder,
or selected files in the folder or sub-folder together with its
data entries. The system will give you the folder automatically
compressed IN A SINGLE FILE SO SMALL it could fit in one or a
few diskettes. It automatically determines the size of the
compressed file. If the size is over 1.44 MB, it allows you to
choose whether to SPLIT the file to fit into 1.44 floppy disks.
When viewed, the compressed file will show you an organized folder
- not scattered individual files.
9. Folder
Update - With the compressed folder file, you can work
on the documents outside your office where you can make modifications.
You can bring back the modified folder to your office and update
your system in a click of a button.
10. Picture
Document Compiler - The system allows you to compile a multi-page
picture document. The system allows you to add, insert or change
picture on the document pages by opening a picture file, scanning
or pasting images. The ‘Save As’ function gives you a copy
of the multi-page picture document in a SINGLE COMPRESSED FILE.
Approximately depending on resolution, a 60-page picture document
can fit inside a 1.44 floppy disk. With a file size so small,
the document can easily be passed on even on the internet. The
compiler can compile and read bmp, jpg, gif, pcx, ico, wmf and
emf images.
11. Document
Tracking (Details and Search) - You can make notes on EACH
inserted document storing information like document status,
history, author, notes etc. You can also search the whole database
for documents using the document title, status, author. code and
date (the code field may be utilized for bar codes). The system
allows you to note and track down every single document.
12. Document
Scanning - the system can automatically activiate any type
of scanner (Twain compatible). It allows IMAGE RESIZING
and COLOR REDUCTION. This function allows you to convert
paper documents into digital format conveniently.
13. Document
Forwarding - with folder and picture files so small in file
size, you can upload or download documents fast through the
internet.

IRIS
DATABANK BILLING SYSTEM
Introducing
a software for consultants, lawyers, doctors, technicians and
other service oriented profession or business. It has a client
and billing entries databases. You can specify an unlimited number
of billing items like man-hours, photocopying, travel, rent, retainer,
etc, and the rates pertaining to each. The system will do all
the computations. It allows you to print billing statements fast.
Features:
Client
Table - Allows you to create
a client database where you can record the details of your clients.
The system allows you to change the fields on the clients table.
You can conveniently search/sort, edit, delete client entries.
Billing
Table - The system has a billing
table where you can conveniently post new, edit or delete Billing
entries. You can specify an unlimited number of billing items.
Special
Rates - Although the Items table
specifies the default amount for each item, you can specify special
rates for certain clients.
Payment
Table - The system allows you
to record all payments made by clients. Computations are automatic
and can be reflected on your billing summary.
Account
Balance - The clients database
has a field to record monthly charge and the account balance of
the client. These fields can be incorporated on the billing summary.
Billing
Summary/ Report - The system
allows you to conveniently make a billing summary for the month
or any particular time frame. All computations automatic. The
system allows you to make billing reports fast. It also allows
you to copy data on the clipboard so you can paste the report
on any wordprocessor.
Network
Ready- The system allows you
to conveniently connect any workstation to the server. You can
have an unlimited number of workstations connected on the server
simultaneously using the Iris Billing System.
Data
Back-up -This system allows you
to conveniently connect to back-up CD-Roms or disks. The system
therefore allows you to load inactive data on CD-Roms and still
could be retrieved anytime. You can choose to delete all data
in your computer so you can have more space on your hardisk. The
data is securely stored on the CD-Rom.
IRIS
DATABANK E-DINER SYSTEM
The Iris
Databank E-Diner is a software for restaurants which allows you
to make a Sales Invoice quickly and conveniently.
The following
are the unique features of the system:
1. PRODUCT
DATABASE - The system allows
you to make a database of all products, food and beverages you
are offering. The database allows you to record the product name,
product number, price, and three other fields where you can choose
the kind of information you wish to include.
2. PRODUCT
SEARCH - The system allows you
to conveniently search a particular product by typing the product
name or product number.
3. INVOICE
- The system allows you make a sales invoice conveniently. Using
the Products database, you can search for a particular product.
Once found, all information about the product is reflected on
the invoice item including its price. Indicate the quantity and
the system will automatically make the computation and insert
the same on the invoice.
4. DISCOUNT/
TAX - The system allows you to
include Discount and Tax. Including or excluding the Discount
or Tax item will automatically adjust the Total Amount.
5. CUSTOMER
TABLES - Allows your to make
as many customer tables. It is arranged by numbers for convenience.
6. PRINTING
OPTION - It allows you to print
the invoice at a click of a button. You have an option to print
a report on a letter size paper or regular paper tape. You can
also opt not to generate a report.

PRODUCT SALES - The system allows
you to record total sales and sales for each product. You can
view sales on any given date or between two dates (computations
automatic). It allows you to make a Sales Report.
The following
reports could be generated by the PRODUCT SALES function:
a.
Items sold at any given period with total sales amount;
b.
Sales on any particular product at any given period with total
quantity sold and sales amount;
c.
List of products sold with total quantity sold and sales for each
at any given period;
The list
is properly organized and could be sorted by date, name or transaction
number.
You can
also recover from sales a previous invoice and reprint.
8.
PRODUCT DELIVERY - It allows
you to record all product deliveries. Once recorded, the delivery
quantity number is automatically added to your inventory.
The following
reports could be generated by the PRODUCT DELIVERY function:
a.
Deliveries at any given period with total amount;
b.
Deliveries on any particular product at any given period with
total quantity and amount;
The list
could be sorted by date, name or transaction number.
9. INVENTORY
- The system has the Inventory function where you will know the
quantity of stocks you have on hand on any given product. Sales
are automatically deducted from your inventory total. It also
prompts you when product quantity falls below a given number.
The following
reports could be generated by the INVENTORY function:
a.
List of all products and their quantity on hand;
b.
List of all products which falls below the required number and
must be refilled.
10. NETWORKING
- The system is network-ready. It could be loaded on the server
for access by an unlimited number of workstations. It has a facility
for easy connection to Server.
